On November 27, 2023, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced an online survey for newcomers regarding their resettlement experiences. The voluntary and confidential survey aims to understand the effectiveness of current services and identify areas for improvement in the Settlement Program. The survey, taking approximately 20 minutes, will be emailed to immigrants who became permanent residents in 2016, 2018, 2020, and 2022 and are now at least 18 years old. The survey is available in multiple languages and will be open until January 7, 2024. Responses will not affect any past, current or future applications with IRCC.
