Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From August 29 to September 4, Canada invited 1,121 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of September 2, there are 23,282 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 169 ITAs for Australia, 8 ITAs for Austria, 23 ITAs for Belgium, 1 ITA for Chile, 9 ITAs for Croatia, 20 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 7 ITAs for Denmark, 141 ITAs for France, 84 ITAs for Germany, 3 ITAs for Greece, 11 ITAs for Hong Kong, 93 ITAs for Ireland, 52 ITAs for Italy, 110 ITAs for Japan, 7 ITAs for Lithuania, 15 ITAs for the Netherlands, 47 ITAs for New Zealand, 10 ITAs for Poland, 12 ITAs for Portugal, 1 ITA for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 49 ITAs for Spain, 7 ITAs for Sweden, 1 ITA for Switzerland, 2 ITAs for Taiwan, 238 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2022, Canada issued 108,317 ITAs under the IEC Program.
