Quebec has allocated $10 million to study immigration-related research projects

Quebec’s immigration department has allocated a $10 million budget to research immigration-related matters. The funding will be provided by the province’s immigration department, the Ministere de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Integration (MIFI), over a period of two years, starting this fiscal year. The research projects will be conducted over the next five years. The Fonds de Recherche du Quebec – Société et Culture (FRQSC), Quebec’s non-profit organization that funds societal and cultural research projects, will fund eligible projects.
