On November 7, 2023, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 2,786 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 812 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 681 applications under all pathways (Family Connection and In-Demand Occupation Streams, Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Priority Sectors, and Accelerated Tech Pathway) of the Express Entry stream. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocated a quota of 9,750 nominations to Alberta for 2023 under the AAIP. This year, Alberta invited 3,503 candidates and issued 9,200 nomination certificates.
