On January 30, 2024, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 4,690 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,420 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 735 applications under all pathways (Family Connection and In-Demand Occupation Streams, Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Priority Sectors, and Accelerated Tech Pathway) of the Express Entry stream. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocated a quota of 9,750 nominations to Alberta for 2023 under the AAIP. For 2024, the allocation has yet to be published.
