On December 22, 2023, the Government of Canada announced changes to the pre removal risk assessment (PRRA) for West Bank and Gaza inhabitants. Those who received a negative final decision from the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada or the Federal Court between December 23, 2022, and December 22, 2023, are now potentially eligible to apply for a PRRA. Those who received a final PRRA decision during that period may also be eligible. Canada Border Services Agency will notify qualified individuals about their ability to apply for a PRRA.
