Sudbury considered 31 applications in the Rural and Northern Pilot

On October 27, 2022, the City of Greater Sudbury held a new round of invitations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP). In this round, Sudbury considered 31 candidates, three of whom have been accepted under the Francophone Stream. The lowest score of these draws was 180 points, 40 points fewer than in the previous draw. All applicants had one eligible occupation and are now receiving wages over $20. This year, in total, 74 applicants have been invited. Sudbury has recommended at least 145 individuals under Rnip since the program’s launch.
