Canada is ready to accept Ukrainian nationals fleeing the war

On March 17, 2022, the federal department of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) introduced new pathways to support Ukrainian nationals coming to Canada. The first Ukrainian nationals have already started to receive their visas to Come to Canada. The Canadian Government, as well as the provincial governments, are implementing new measures to support Ukrainians when they arrived in Canada. Immigration Minister Sean Fraser stated that “businesses and employers can add jobs for Ukrainians on Canada’s online job bank and the Government is working with partners, including provinces and territories, the business community, the Ukrainian-Canadian community, and settlement organizations on how best to support Ukrainians.”
