Some Canadian provinces increase minimum wages

The Department of Employment and Social Development of Canada published information that from April 1, the minimum wage for federal employees will be increased from $15 to $15.55 per hour. This profit is received only by those working in the federal districts: banks, postal services, as well as inter-provincial public transport workers. In addition, starting from April 1, 2022, individuals living in Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, and Nova Scotia will also receive increased minimum wages.
