On September 27, 2022, the Government of New Brunswick announced that the province’s Department of Health extended navigation services that help match internationally trained nurses with employers. The project, which delivered services for internationally educated nurses, has been expanded to include all other regulated health professions. Nurses and healthcare providers who have already begun the application process do not need to resubmit their applications and should continue to work with their present contact. Since 2019 the province succeeded to match 200 nurses to employers.
