On April 27, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #177, the MPNP held a new draw under the Skilled Workers Overseas (SWO) stream and issued 558 LAAs to eligible candidates (344 to Express Entry candidates). The lowest score in the SWO category was 616 points, 103 points fewer than in the previous draw. In general, the MPNP invites candidates under three streams: Skilled workers in Manitoba, SWO, and the International Education Stream. In this round of invitations, Manitoba held an SWO-only draw. In 2023, MPNP invited 4,439 candidates, and 951 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
