New Brunswick pauses Atlantic Immigration Program applications for 2024

New Brunswick has announced a temporary halt to new endorsement applications under the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP) starting September 18, 2024. This pause, implemented to reach the full allocation for 2024, will remain in effect for the rest of the year. The AIP, a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers and international graduates from recognized Atlantic Canada institutions, aims to attract individuals seeking to work and live in New Brunswick. While new endorsement applications are on hold, the province will continue to accept Employer Designation applications, maintaining a partial engagement with the program.
