On June 11, 2024, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) started to accept applications with the new rules and has reached the application targets for the Alberta Opportunity Stream (AOS), Accelerated Tech Pathway and the Tourism and Hospitality Stream. For 2024, the Government of Alberta is set to nominate 5,393 applications under the AOS, 1,047 under Accelerated Tech Pathway and 660 applications under the Tourism and Hospitality Stream. So far. The province nominated 4,337 candidates and approved 499 applications under the AAIP. AAIP will start accepting applications on the following dates: July 9, August 13, September 10, October 8, November 5, and December 10.
