On June 11, 2024, the Government of Ontario issued invitations to early childhood educators and assistants through two draws under the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The OINP invited a total of 244 early childhood educators and assistants – 120 candidates under the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream and 124 candidates through the OINP’s Foreign Worker stream. Invitations were sent to profiles with a minimum score of 65 and 43 in the OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) system, respectively. To date, Ontario has issued invitations to a total of 26,207 candidates across all streams in 2024.
