Over the last week, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From April 25 to May 1, Canada invited 4,361 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of April 29, there are 10,748 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 158 ITAs for Australia, 64 ITAs for Austria, 25 ITAs for Belgium, 7 ITAs for Chile, 3 ITAs for Costa Rica, 1 ITA for Croatia, 209 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 12 ITAs for Denmark, 25 ITAs for Estonia, 633 ITAs for France, 821 ITAs for Germany, 6 ITAs for Greece, 16 ITAs for Hong Kong, 1,030 ITAs for Ireland, 60 ITAs for Italy, 118 ITAs for Japan, 200 ITAs for South Korea, 2 ITAs for Latvia, 21 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 61 ITAs for the Netherlands, 69 ITAs for New Zealand, 2 ITAs for Norway, 176 ITAs for Poland, 29 ITAs for Portugal, 84 ITAs for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 79 ITAs for Spain, 10 ITAs for Sweden, 2 ITAs for Switzerland, 38 ITAs for Taiwan, and 399 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2022, Canada issued 70,748 ITAs under the IEC Program.
