Over the last week, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From March 14 to March 20, Canada invited 5,963 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of March 18, there are 20,757 candidates registered in the pool, waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 1 ITA for Andorra, 200 ITAs for Australia, 39 ITAs for Belgium, 80 ITAs for Chile, 4 ITAs for Costa Rica, 4 ITAs for Croatia, 54 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 20 ITAs for Denmark, 10 ITAs for Estonia, 2,142 ITAs for France, 250 ITAs for Germany, 13 ITAs for Greece, 22 ITAs for Hong Kong, 374 ITAs for Ireland, 69 ITAs for Italy, 190 ITAs for Japan, 1,099 ITAs for South Korea, 5 ITAs for Latvia, 17 ITAs for Lithuania, 37 ITAs for the Netherlands, 91 ITAs for New Zealand, 1 ITA for Norway, 46 ITAs for Poland, 29 ITAs for Portugal, 34 ITAs for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 132 ITAs for Spain, 10 ITAs for Sweden, 9 ITAs for Switzerland, 136 ITAs for Taiwan, and 844 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2022, Canada issued 57,186 ITAs under the IEC Program.
