On March 7, 2022, Yukon launched the Ukrainian Family Support Desk to provide help for Yukoners who have families and relatives in Ukraine. The Desk will provide support for Ukrainian Yukoners to find pathways and resources to bring their families to the province. The Department of Economic Development staff who possess extensive knowledge of immigration and temporary resident pathways will provide information on federal programs to assist with immigration and family reunification, connect employers that want to offer employment to Ukrainians arriving in the province, and guide Ukrainians looking for employment opportunities in the territory.
