Thunder Bay issued its first community recommendations in 2021

On January 28, 2021, Thunder Bay, ON, has issued its first community recommendations in the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP).

The city approved the application of 1 candidate in the NOC 0 skills level, 4 candidates in the NOC B skills level, 1 candidate in the NOC C skills level, and 1 candidate in the NOC D skills level.

In addition, the Community Economic Development Commission (CEDC) of Thunder Bay recommended 1 Cook and 1 Cleaner. In total, CEDC issued 9 community recommendations in 2021.

Those candidates now can proceed to permanent residence application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
