On January 3, 2025, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the processing summary totals, the AAIP issued 9,943 nominations in 2024, 193 more than the 2024 nomination allocation. In addition, on December 23, 2024, the province invited 588 candidates under the Alberta Opportunity Stream. The minimum score for this draw was 55 points, five more than in the previous draw. This year, Alberta invited 4,989 candidates through the AAIP streams.
