Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration has introduced a comprehensive overhaul of its skilled worker immigration system with the new Qualified Worker Selection Program (PSTQ), effective November 28, 2024. This program, replacing the previous PRTQ, features four distinct components targeting highly qualified specialists, manual workers, regulated professionals, and exceptional talent. While invitations are temporarily suspended until June 30, 2025, existing applicants can continue under the previous system, and those with declarations of interest are encouraged to update their profiles to align with the new requirements.
