On September 27, 2024, Manitoba held an invitation round #229 under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, MPNP issued 79 LAAs to candidates invited under the Strategic Recruitment Initiative. The lowest score in the SWO category was 582 points, 145 fewer than the previous draw for this category. Another 269 invitations were issued in the International Education Stream. In this round, Manitoba has issued LAAs to 348 candidates, including 56 Express Entry candidates. In 2024, MPNP invited 6,394 candidates, and 931 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
