On October 11, 2024, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 1,823 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,589 Rural Renewal Stream applications, 12 Dedicated Healthcare Pathway applications, 22 Entrepreneur Stream applications, and 578 applications under the Alberta Express Entry stream. This year, the Government of Alberta invited 832 candidates through the AAIP Express Entry streams and issued 8,397 nominations. There are still 1,353 remaining nomination spaces for 2024.
