On September 12, 2024, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #228, the MPNP invited 206 applicants under the Occupation Specific and Completed Post-Secondary Study in Manitoba. The province targeted candidates working under two National Occupational Classification (NOC) occupation codes – 63200 Cooks and 62200 Chefs. This was the first exclusive MPNP draw for cooks and chefs in 2024. This year, MPNP invited 6,046 candidates, and 875 of them received invitations in the Express Entry.
