This marks the largest job increase since July 2022, placing the province second in percentage change at 3.9%. Saskatchewan also boasts the lowest unemployment rate in Canada at 5.4%, surpassing the national average of 6.4%. Immigration and Career Training Minister Jeremy Harrison highlighted the province’s economic strength and commitment to supporting job creation. The province led the nation in month-to-month labour force growth, with employment rising by 6,700 from June, a 1.1% increase.
