On July 4, 2024, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held the first occupation-specific Express Entry draw for candidates working in one of the skilled trades occupations and issued 1,800 Invitations to Apply (ITA). In round #300, the cut-off score was 436, eleven points more than the previous draw for this category-based selection. The tie-breaking rule for this round was July 16, 2023, at 15:44:59 UTC. As of July 2, 2024, were 222,547 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool. This year, Canada issued 46,174 ITAs through 22 Express Entry draws.
