Over the last week, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From July 8 to July 14, Canada invited 3,045 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of July 14, 34,478 candidates were registered in the pool and waiting for the invitation. In this round, there were 1 ITA for Andorra, 167 ITAs for Australia, 6 ITAs for Austria, 17 ITAs for Belgium, 511 ITAs for Costa Rica, 4 ITAs for Croatia, 27 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 8 ITAs for Denmark, 4 ITAs for Estonia, 18 ITAs for Finland, 154 ITAs for France, 92 ITAs for Germany, 11 ITAs for Greece, 5 ITAs for Hong Kong, 1 ITA for Iceland, 63 ITAs for Ireland, 58 ITAs for Italy, 138 ITAs for Japan, 30 ITAs for Korea, 1 ITA for Latvia, 3 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 2 ITAs for the Netherlands, 43 ITAs for New Zealand, 9 ITAs for Poland, 16 ITAs for Portugal, 3 ITAs for Slovakia, 3 ITAs for Slovenia, 37 for Spain, 2 ITAs for Sweden, 9 ITAs for Switzerland, 1,214 ITAs for Taiwan, and 402 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2024, Canada issued 95,633 ITAs under the IEC Program.
