Over the last month, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From June 10 to July 7, Canada invited 7,444 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of July 7, 34,664 candidates were registered in the pool and waiting for the invitation. In these rounds, there were 2 ITAs for Andorra, 750 ITAs for Australia, 16 ITAs for Austria, 131 ITAs for Belgium, 1 ITAs for Chile, 638 ITAs for Costa Rica, 13 ITAs for Croatia, 78 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 33 ITAs for Denmark, 13 ITAs for Estonia, 18 ITAs for Finland, 469 ITAs for France, 420 ITAs for Germany, 20 ITAs for Greece, 9 ITAs for Hong Kong, 2 ITAs for Iceland, 278 ITAs for Ireland, 232 ITAs for Italy, 627 ITAs for Japan, 108 ITAs for Korea, 1 ITA for Latvia, 19 ITAs for Lithuania, 3 ITAs for Luxembourg, 5 ITAs for the Netherlands, 227 ITAs for New Zealand, 16 ITAs for Norway, 49 ITAs for Poland, 76 ITAs for Portugal, 29 ITAs for Slovakia, 9 ITAs for Slovenia, 97 for Spain, 53 ITAs for Sweden, 20 ITAs for Switzerland, 1,613 ITAs for Taiwan, and 1,369 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2024, Canada issued 92,591 ITAs under the IEC Program.
