On June 17, 2024, the Government of Ontario issued invitations to early childhood educators and assistants through two targeted draws under the Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP). The OINP invited 190 early childhood educators and assistants – 84 candidates under the Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream and 106 candidates under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. Invitations were sent to profiles with a minimum score of 60 and 39 in the OINP Expression of Interest (EOI) system, respectively. To date, Ontario has issued invitations to a total of 26,397 candidates across all streams in 2024.
