On May 1, 2024, Alberta published the update considering the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 4,146 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,739 Rural Renewal Stream applications, 234 Tourism and Hospitality Stream applications, and 947 applications under all pathways (Family Connection and In-Demand Occupation Streams, Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, Priority Sectors, and Accelerated Tech Pathway) of the Express Entry stream. In addition, on April 17, 2024, the AAIP invited 49 candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway. The minimum score in this draw was 302 points, one point fewer than in the previous draw. This year, Alberta invited 459 candidates through the AAIP Express Entry streams.
