On April 23, 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued invitations to candidates in the new Express Entry draw. In this round, 2,095 invitations to apply (ITAs) were sent out in the General Express Entry draw #294. Candidates were required to have a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 529, which was 20 points fewer than the previous general draw. The tie-breaking rule for this draw was set for November 08, 2023, at 17:50:29 UTC. As of April 23, 2024, 214,697 profiles were registered in the Express Entry pool. Canada has issued 34,570 ITAs through 16 Express Entry draws throughout the year.
