On February 12, 2024, Alberta published an update on the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) inventory. According to the new update, there were around 5,093 Alberta Opportunity Stream applications, 1,477 Rural Renewal Stream applications, and 766 Alberta Express Entry Stream applications. In addition, on January 30 and February 6, 2024, the AAIP invited 22 and 44 candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway, respectively. On February 1, 2024, the province invited 80 candidates working in construction occupations. This year, Alberta invited 254 candidates through the AAIP streams.
