On August 31, 2023, Manitoba held a new invitation round in the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). In round #192, the MPNP held a new draw under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM) stream and issued 288 LAAs to eligible candidates (127 to Express Entry candidates). The lowest score in the SWM category was 600 points, 46 points fewer than in the previous draw. The province implemented region-specific selection in this draw and invited candidates who intended to reside outside Winnipeg. In 2023, MPNP invited 10,611 candidates, and 2,814 received invitations in the Express Entry.
