Over the last two weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From June 24 to July 7, Canada invited 3,286 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of July 7, 25,848 candidates registered in the pool, awaiting the invitation. In this round, there were 583 ITAs for Australia, 11 ITAs for Austria, 2 ITAs for Belgium, 3 ITAs for Chile, 6 ITAs for Costa Rica, 11 ITAs for Croatia, 52 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 10 ITAs for Denmark, 7 ITAs for Estonia, 233 ITAs for France, 271 ITAs for Germany, 19 ITAs for Greece, 19 ITAs for Hong Kong, 223 ITAs for Ireland, 133 ITAs for Italy, 418 ITAs for Japan, 49 ITAs for Korea, 4 ITAs for Lithuania, 2 ITAs for Luxembourg, 59 ITA for the Netherlands, 120 ITAs for New Zealand, 14 ITAs for Norway, 41 ITAs for Poland, 61 ITAs for Portugal, 21 ITAs for Slovakia, 1 ITA for Slovenia, 120 ITAs for Spain, 22 ITAs for Sweden, 16 ITAs for Switzerland, 30 ITAs for Taiwan, and 725 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2023, Canada issued 96,656 ITAs under the IEC Program.
