This private sponsorship program has been running for over 40 years and is unique to Canada. Sponsors cover the minimum annual cost of $28,700 for a family of four and provide income, settlement support, and other essentials such as furniture and clothing for 12 months. This includes ongoing monthly costs for housing, food, transportation, and emotional support.
