The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has charged Indian national Brijesh Mishra with immigration-related offenses, including unauthorized representation or advice for consideration, counselling misrepresentation, misrepresentation (direct or indirect misrepresentation and communicating false information), and non-compliance with the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). The charges stem from an investigation initiated by CBSA after receiving information regarding Mr. Mishra’s status in Canada and his alleged involvement in fraudulent activities, including issuing fraudulent letters to Indian students on behalf of Canadian postsecondary institutions.
