On May 11, 2023, the Government of Saskatchewan announced that Ukrainian students who arrived in the province under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) program within the last year would have access to funding to pay domestic tuition rates for post-secondary education. As a result, Ukrainian nationals who want to obtain post-secondary education in Saskatchewan will no longer have to pay higher international student tuition fees. This will help around two dozen Ukrainian students graduating from high schools in Saskatchewan this spring.
