In February, job vacancies in Canada fell by four percent to 841,300, reversing the previous month’s increase. The education, healthcare, and social services sectors saw a decrease in job postings during the second month of the year. The job vacancy rate in Canada, which is the proportion of vacant positions to total labour demand, comprising both filled and vacant positions, decreased by 0.2 percentage points to 4.7 percent in February.
