Over the three weeks, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held new draws in the pools of International Experience Canada (IEC). From May 26 to May 28, Canada invited 2,657 young foreigners to apply for an IEC open work permit. As of May 26, 19,366 candidates registered in the pool, awaiting the invitation. In this round, there were 3 ITAs for Andorra, 324 ITAs for Australia, 47 ITAs for Belgium, 46 ITAs for Costa Rica, 5 ITAs for Croatia, 24 ITAs for the Czech Republic, 13 ITAs for Denmark, 1 ITA for Estonia, 252 ITAs for France, 163 ITAs for Germany, 13 ITAs for Greece, 8 ITAs for Hong Kong, 122 ITAs for Ireland, 81 ITAs for Italy, 100 ITAs for Korea, 4 ITAs for Lithuania, 1 ITA for Luxembourg, 166 ITA for the Netherlands, 71 ITAs for New Zealand, 4 ITAs for Norway, 24 ITAs for Poland, 30 ITAs for Portugal, 16 ITAs for Slovakia, 9 ITAs for Slovenia, 135 ITAs for Spain, 37 ITAs for Sweden, 16 ITAs for Switzerland, 277 ITAs for Taiwan, and 665 ITAs for the United Kingdom. In 2023, Canada issued 86,622 ITAs under the IEC Program.
