Quebec’s Immigration Minister, Christine Frechette, is expected to reveal details of a plan to ease the criteria for the Province’s Programme de l’experience quebecoise (PEQ) immigration program.
As the federal Canadian Experience Class (CEC) pathway, PEQ is a pathway to permanent residency in Canada’s only francophone province, designed to fast-track international students and temporary workers to permanent residence. To qualify for PEQ, international students and temporary workers must have 12 to 18 months of work experience before applying.
