According to the data provided by Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), 19,160 invitations to apply (ITAs) were granted to the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates in 2022. Last year, IRCC issued a total of 37,315 ITAs, with 51% going to PNP candidates. An ITA allows applicants to submit their permanent residency application to IRCC. The number of ITAs issued to candidates in Express Entry draws since January 2023 is 37,559, which is greater than the total number of ITAs issued in 2022.
