On March 23, 2023, the Government of Ontario released the new nomination allocation quota for the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The annual quota for Ontario under the Provincial Nominee Program will be 16,500 in 2023, 6,750 more than last year. Last year, the province nominated 9,750 candidates to apply for permanent residence with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This is almost 70 percent higher than the previous year’s quota. This year, the province has already issued 10,680 invitations under all OINP`s streams.
