On March 21, 2023, Alberta announced 2023 allocations for the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP). For 2023, the Government of Canada allocated 9,750 nominations for the AAIP. The province will issue 4,875 nominations under the Non-Express Entry streams, including 4,240 nominations for Alberta Express Entry Stream, 630 for Rural Renewal Stream, and five for Entrepreneur streams. Additional 4,875 nominations have been allocated for the Express Entry stream and pathways, with 1,219 nominations for Family Connection and Occupation in Demand streams, 1,219 nominations for the Accelerated Tech Pathway, and 2,437 for Sector Priorities.
