Under the umbrella of the Provincial Nominee Program, there are eleven various provincial programs. All Canadian province and territories except for Quebec, which has a separate immigration system and Nunavut, which is too small to run it, have their nomination programs. Each PNP includes from 4 to 10 streams targeting different categories of immigrants: international graduates, skilled workers, entrepreneurs, etc. As of November 2022, there are 81 active streams! Among them, 19 are linked to Express Entry so the nominee can then get 600 points and apply for PR via Express Entry. Nominees of other streams can apply for PR via the non-Express Entry procedure
