Businesspeople are flocking to Canada thanks to the Start-Up Visa program. According to the latest data from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), nearly three times as many entrepreneurs have set up businesses in Canada through the Start-Up Visa program this year compared to last year. 420 permanent residents have come to Canada in the first eight months of this year under the Start-Up Visa program, which is 189.6% more than the 145 new permanent residents during that time last year. Although Canada received a record number of 406,030 new permanent residents last year, arrivals via the Start-Up Visa program were significantly lower.
