In this round of invitations, IRCC continued inviting candidates under all immigration programs. In round #234, the cut-off score finally dropped below 500 points and was 496 points, 4 points fewer compared to the previous draw. The tie-breaking rule for this round was May 9, 2022, at 09:04:20 UTC. As of October 24, 2022, there are 234,981 profiles registered in the Express Entry pool, 139 fewer compared to the previous update. In 2022, Canada issued 37,038 ITAs through Express Entry.
