The latest Henley Passport Index, which measures the strength of passports around the world, has revealed that a Canadian passport is one of the eighth most powerful in the world. The Canadian passport was compared to those of Australia, the Czech Republic, Greece, and Malta in the organization’s second-quarter survey of passports from countries all around the world. Canada and all of those nations were given a 185 on the index. The Japanese passport is the most powerful. Japan’s passport has a score of 193, which is the highest in the world. Singapore and South Korea got second place with a score of 192. Germany and Spain tied for third place with 190 points each.
