On July 14, 2022, the Government of New Brunswick announced a new development strategy between the province and France. The New Brunswick-France Development Strategy includes nine objectives and sets out various goals for agriculture, aquaculture, fisheries, tourism, education, and immigration over the next five years. The strategy also aims to recognize professional credentials and internationally promote Acadian artists. The provincial government’s new worldwide strategy will enhance its ties with France and take specific actions in the province’s economic growth and population increase.
