According to new statistics, the number of international students enrolling at Canadian educational institutions in 2021 was almost as high as it was in 2019, the year before the epidemic. However, fewer Chinese, South Korean, and Vietnamese students came to Canada for their education in 2021, in contrast to a greater number of students from a broader range of countries and regions, including Europe and Latin America. Last year, the number of Canadian study permits granted to foreign students was down by only 2.6% when compared with statistics of 2019.
