On March 2, 2022, Immigration, Population Growth, and Skills of Newfoundland and Labrador launched the new Ukrainian Family Support Desk staffed by the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism to help Ukrainian-Canadians living in the province connect with their family members living in Ukraine. Ukrainian Family Support Desk will provide assistance with family reunification and sponsorship through referrals to immigration and temporary resident pathways. In addition, the Desk will also direct Ukrainians to find employment in the province and connect them with employers.
