On February 15, 2022, the Public Health Agency of Canada announced amendments to the border measures. As of February 28, 2022, fully-vaccinated travellers will be able to use either a COVID-19 rapid antigen or a molecular test result taken 72 hours before their scheduled flight or arrival at the border. The Government eased the on-arrival testing for the randomly selected travellers, allowing fully vaccinated travellers no longer quarantine while awaiting their test results. Exempted unvaccinated travellers will continue to follow testing and quarantine requirements.
